This is a depiction of St. Francis and St. Clare sharing a picnic on the grass near the Porziuncola, the small chapel Francis restored with his first brothers. It was a moment of great "presence" between them -- Clare was normally cloistered -- and so is a fitting theme for spiritual accompaniment.

This depiction is only meters away from the place where the picnic actually happened, which is now part of the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli, just outside of Assisi, in Italy.
